This is for all you guys who want flip up towing mirrors.

I just wanted to tell you guys that Mopar sells an add on kit for doing this swap. It comes with every single thing and instructions as to how to do the changeover. My buddy at the dealership ordered it for me.

It took about 20 minutes to swap both sides on.

negative ghostrider, these are not power. Our generation trucks had to make due with the manual tow mirrors. Obviously, the 3rd gen trucks got the full boogie models. Some fellows on here have combined the 2nd gen bases with the 3rd gen heads to get their whole cake and eat it too. The downside is that buying both sets of mirrors is like 400 plus dollars.

Do the towing mirrors add any vibrations or wind noise over the other standard mirrors. Also has any one added these to a 97 2500.

I added them to my 96 3500 replacing the Chrome 6X9 power mirrors.

In the down position, there is a slight 'whistle' of the wind through the mirror and arm when in the down position. I can only hear it with the sindow open. It's usually so hot and humid in Houston that the window is up for A/C all the time anyways.

Easy swap fromt eh stock to the manual flip up towing mirrors.

One of the better upgrades that i've made. Like the way it makes the dually look.

Cheers,

redram

yea but you have to admit it is a kewl item. power/heated flip up tow mirrors on a rig that didnt come with them it was well worth the time and money and no loseness or vibrations :D
