2nd Gen wheels??

Howdy,



I was reading a thread in the archives about this and if I'm right I can get some 2nd gen wheels on my 91 but I won't be able to use the center caps?? Is that right?

When I bought my 93 it had chrome steel 2nd gen wheels on it, they set inboard more than the stock wheels and they did not look that good on the truck. Also had another set on my snowtires for my 2001. 5 and did not like them on it either. I have heard a lot of story about these wheels not been straight and having cracks. I put 16. 5x9. 75 mags on the 1st gen with 12:50x33x16. 5 on the 1st gen and it looked really good. However 16. 5 do not ride every good. I friend just put some wide 16" mags and wide tires on his early 90's Ford and it looks nice. He had had the same 16. 5 set up as I had, and he says the 16" ride much better. SNOKING
