Guys,
I'm opening up a new post. The other one was getting a little long #ad

I hope everyone had a good time. I know it was a little disorganized, but they'll get better as we go along. All the trucks were awesome. This is really a great group. Kevin,Sean and I will let everyone know when the next meeting will be.
Thanx

<font color=blue>I must admit that the hellacious drive I had on Saturday was worth it. I had a blast Sunday, and I am happy to report that Kevin's truvk is operational again, however the ability of his battieries to hold a charge concerns me, so we'll see tommorrow. I think with them being at lil to no charge over night mixed with the cold weather might have killed them off, we'll see tho.

I gotta thank Charles (Stakeman) for fixing me up with a spring for a lil more boost! I was able to substain my lil burnout much longer this time! Pictures were taken and once I make them a bit smaller hopefully we can post them.

Welp i am on Kevin's PC and its past his bedtime so I gotta cut it short, I'll try to post a recap once I get home tommorrow.

Great turnout guys!

Sure was fun this weekend. Who was the wild dog that left big black streaks from one end of the parking lot to another? I noticed them when I came back to get the charis I forgot. I'm disappointed that I missed that burn out!

Also, I never did get the name of the guy who wanted help with an injector install. He never called me and left me hangin' Monday afternoon. I neglected to get his name or phone number. He was the guy with the MASSIVE Bambi basher bumper on the front of his blue truck.

I'm begining to wonder if the rubber on the road is going to be the signature of a Colorado Rammers meeting. Maybe we should see if we can get group pricing on tires?

<font color=blue>Would this be what your refering to Sean? If ya look close you'll see two sets of tracks... . both by the same madman! It was peer pressure I tell you... ...

Ok... where to start. First off I have to say "Thanks" to everyone that showed up and traveled out to Denver, just to be with us... it was loads of fun.

Now on a serious note. I have to agree with Alex, this meeting was a little disorganized and I do apologize. Now that Alex and myself know what type of turnout we are going to have, we are working on ways to not only have tons of fun and keep everyone interested, but we are talking to a couple of Vendors to see if they can put on Tech Sessions for us and keep us learning more about how our trucks are DA "BOMB". So just bare with us and we will have this group on the way to having much fun.

Also, I have to give some serious Thanks out to Charles (Stakeman) for letting us use his Facilities to host the meeting. Second to Alex for helping in gathering this group together. We had a great turnout. Thanks to Sean for his great work! Thanks for posting up the pics on the website and for designing the site everything looks GREAT! Keep up the good work. Along with Mike (Cryppie) and Terry for bringing your OBD tools. You guys dropped a lot of knowledge on us on the pros and cons of these tools.

OK. . now time for my Childish BOMBaholic side

Terry - I think your right... it's about time for us to get in with a tire company and see if they will give us "Black Trail Discounts"... . ha ha ha

Sean - That guy with the Bambi Bash'n bumper... I talk to him on a regular basis. I'll shoot you and e-mail with his e-mail address and number so that you can get a hold of him. He went ahead and installed them himself. He said that they were pretty easy and boy is he impressed with the performance.

On another note... I think everyone will have to check out the pictures to understand... but that high tech Fuel Pressure gauge that you brought. Was that a propietary mounting kit that you brought? Also, is it specific to a certain year RAM? I believe that your's is a 98... right? Cause that mounting hardware just doesn't look like it will properly fit my truck. Is this true? ROFLMAO!!!!

Katdiesel - Peer pressure huh. Soooo I shouldn't tell everyone on the TDR about how them black marks were actually made with spray paint? ha ha ha... . LMAO

Ok guys... even though I had loads of fun... . man was I bummed that I couldn't bring my truck. But I do have to deliver the good news. I replaced that 140 amp fuse... charged up my batteries... and away I go. My baby started and is working as great as before. Sooooo... . uuuhhhhh... Who do I get to help first... in showing how NOT to touch the hot side of the alternator bolt to the outside of the turbo? LMAO!

Thanks again.

Kev

Sorry I didn't make it. What started out as a "minor upgrade to my camper" ended up being a "major 2 week project", so I had my camper all torn apart the day of the meeting. It's back together now, but I'll be leaving for Baja around the end of February. If anyone wants to check out my truck before then, let's set up a location and I'll drop by.
