i am thinking of running a second set of wheels and tires for the winter, these stock michelins just don't cut it in the snow. looking for a cheep set (aluminum or steel) with a good tire to match. or is there a good snow i could run year round and still get decent were. all replies are greatly appreciated. RW

So far Im impressed with my BFG AT's I dont know the exact milage since I bought the truck in august with them on and they are holding up great!!

Ive ran Mastercraft Courser M/T's and love em on all my other trucks (dump truck and pre diesel 95) there is a SLIGHT road humm on my 33/12. 50/15's but the 265/75/16 "winter set" I had no noise and they wore pertty darn good. even with wear and tear spinning when plowing snow on pavement/gravel/concrete.

just some info

Ian

goodluck!!

i'm runnin the cooper discoverer st's and i love 'em... mine are 315's though, been playing in the mud and what not, and in the snow and have yet to have a problem. the tires seem to clear real well and get good traction all around. i have about 15000 miles on them and they dont seem to be wearing at all. only time i had trouble was parking in the school lot on a snow bank, so much for making my own parking spot (side note, there really wasn't another open spot when i came in at 0130)

I picked up another set of stock aluminum wheels and have Les Schwab studded snow times on them. They are D rated. Truck steers and rides better with them than the Michelin's. Les Schwab if they are in your area has really good customer service. SNOKING
