Just returned from Camp Jeep, where I towed my built YJ using my 01 Cummins. Avg 15. 5 mpg including the tow and driving around Branson for 5 days(if you can call it driving in Branson, more setting than anything). Very pleased with the performance of the Cummins,no problems at all on the hills of Nw Arkansas, and even got to check the stopping ability of the truck on I-40 in FT Smith. Something I'd just as soon not do again! My friend drove behind me in his 01 5. 3 Chevy ext cab and got only 15 mpg w/just his truck! He said he was going to start looking for a Cummins next week. Bye the way, Camp Jeep was a blast and will go again next year. YJ

I know what you mean:D . My last truck was a gasser and I was lucky to get 12 mpg empty running 60. Now I can get 17 pulling a load at 70 mph:cool:
