2wd 3 gen front end question

I have read some posts regarding early ball joint failures with the 4wd 's but have'nt noticed any post's regarding the 2wd front end's.

Have there been any reports of front problems with the 2 wd's?



Any comments on the new 2wd front ends. I ask because the 1500's you have to replace the whole A- arm in the event of a ball joint failure .

Not that I have seen. I was contemplating getting a 4x2 but went with the 4x4 instead even with the ball joint reports.
