Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 2wd 47-re to 4wd 47re

I have a 4wd 99, and just bought a reman 47-re from a private seller, when it got here it turns out to be a 2wd transmission. My big problemo is that the OD unit appears to be cast into the ouput shaft housing on the 2wd unit, where on the 4wd in my truck, it is seperate, so the T-case can bolt on. Where do I go from here?
