I had some tires mounted today and the alignment set properly... I think. I noticed on the alignment printout the year specified was for a 94-97 Ram 2500 2WD. I pointed out (again) that it was a 1999. The shop said its a computer file that needs updated. They stated the alignment is the same specifications up to the 02's and I need not worry.
Is this true? It makes sense unless they made some changes to the front suspension components. They are a very reputable shop that specializes in alignment and springs for trucks... esp. big rig trucks. It sure drives nice if its wrong.
After driving 25 miles the "paint" stripes around the circumference of the tread was still on there so it apparently is tracking fairly straight.
