I have noticed that some 1-ton 1st genners have taller wheel travel than others. Is there a replacement coil spring that is out because I would like to raise my old goat alittle. Also did some 1-tons come with rear overload bump leaf springs and some did not, because mine does not have the bumps on the frame for the overload spring. I am thinking about rearching the leaf springs because they are flat with just the truck weight, I am also going to install air bags on the rear.

You ought to be able to get a larger set of springs from a decent spring shop. They should have springs of almost any size and K available.

They should also be able to add an overload leaf if wanted. You will have to check and see if you can add the stops for the spring to the frame. It might be less expensive if you just add more leaves to the existing stack instead of adding an overload leaf. You can also have the rear leaves re-bent, but by the time they go flat, they are usually shot. With leaf springs, you can easily remove them yourself, but for the hassel and cost, take it to the spring shop.

I took the overloads off of a '77 w200 and put on mine. The '93 frame is already drilled for the bump stops. The whole thing was a bolt-on deal. Just needed new U-bolts about 3 inches longer.
