Hey all,

As most of you may know. My sig truck is a 2012 CCSB g56 2wd truck. its has a number of mods to it but my questions are as follows.

1. is cold weather squeaking of the lower control arms a typical thing each year? or should I look at changing out the control arms even though everything is good minus the very loud squeaking while driving or bouncing up and down on the front bumper?
2. this is the first year that I have ever had the squeak while turning left or right at a complete stop but I feel this is related to #1 and the bushings. Fluids are good and i switch all fluids in truck to syn the day i bought it.

3. Any one know of a good source of replacement bushings for all around the truck? I already did the upgraded sway bar bushings from GenosGarage. Just looking at the rear leafs and pretty much everywhere else lol.

Thanks to anyone that replies and helps out.

I'm having the same problem with my 04.5 2wd. Did some reading up and they say you have to be careful what you use so it won't breakdown the rubber. This guy bought this stuff at Ace hardware. Synthetic grease with PTFE (teflon) mixed in. Good luck

I found that stuff and have been spraying it on the books before I drive so hopefully it'll work itself into the bushings without having to pull anything off.

It got above 32* yesterday and stopped squeaking so it's definitely cold related.

Wonder if there is a better business that could be used.

Check out some chain lubes for motorcycles just be sure there is no petroleum based product in it. Seems the synthetic stuff is ok

So not sure if any of you are following this but i took my truck down to a buddies shop and we went over every bolt on the front end. We found that the lower control arm bolts were not torqued completely (190ftlbs). we also found that the sway bar bolts had loosened up so we blue locked them and torqued back to 47ft lbs.

we also checked the sway bar links and steering pinion those were all good. Popping seems to have gone away but time will tell.

Just wanted to reach back out with my update for yall.
