Ok, it is that time again- new shocks for my 91 D350. The roads around here are quite rough- lots of gaps in pavement, uneven pavement between sections, bridges 2" higher or lower than the road, potholes to lose a VW in, etc, etc. And that is the primary roads; not getting into secondary and tertiary roads, or GRAVEL (15mph in a new 1/2t Chevy). Anyway, I have read good things about Billstein and KYB. What else is there, and where can I get it? Everyone around here runs the cheapest they can get (for their cheap POSs- chevy 350s in a 1/2T), so I'll probably have to order whatever I get. Naturally, living in an economically challenged area, I want to get away with spending as little as possible, yet dont want to go the totally cheap route. Upper middle of the road, as it were. Maybe put a $75ea cap on them.
Thanks for all your help in the past, guys (and gals).
Daniel
