2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2wd to 4wd swap...

I just can't leave well enough alone. I am thinking about doing a 4x4 swap. I know it would be easier to sell my truck and buy a 4wd, but I like the idea of doing the project. Instead of trying to fab a 4wd front end under my truck it seems like it would be better to find a 4wd chassis and do a body swap. What do you all think? Any ideas on where to find the 4x4 chassis? My truck is an '02 quad cab. Does that mean that I can use any 2nd generation, 4wd, quad cab chassis? I would appreciate any advice.

Every now and again you see a rolled one on ebay. You could pick it up and sell off the engine to recoup part of your investment.
