2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 2wd vs 4wd Steering gearbox

Does anyone know or know if there is a post about differenced between the 2 and 4 wheel drive steering gear box. I have a 4x4 that I am going to rebuild, and it is missing the gearbox. I have one from a 2wd I junked out wondering if it is the same as well as the pitman arm. Anyone have any expeirience with this.

I think the easiest way would be to ask the guy at the Dodge parts counter. A quick check of part numbers would answer the question. Also, some auto salvage yards have a book that shows cross usage.



Does the truck you junked out still have the wiring and was it equipped with an NV4500? I need a couple of connectors.
