Thanks, TDR Staff

It's exhausting; why 3.5" for 89-93, but 4" for 94-up?

I know lots of guys have talked about the 3. 5" exhaust from BD and how nice it is, but does anyone know how to install this thing? I ordered and recieved the exhaust through TJR and a the only installation instructions that BD sent is a 1-pager that says to basically "put the pipes together and bolt it up!? Unfortunatly, they don't say how to install hangars (only 2 provided) and the entire exhaust seems to be about 18" too long. Do you cut it down to match your individual truck? Do you have to have a muffler shop do the install? What gives? I'll be YELLING at JRE and BD Monday morning, as my truck now sits in the driveway with no exhaust. In the meantime thought I would ask the experts. Thanks for any help that you can provide,

Smarley you don't mention in your post,if you have a standard cab or club cab truck. The 18" is about the difference between the two. BD should offer the correct lenght to fit either truck.
