Glad to be here. :D

A quick question for all of you gear heads. I have a '93 TD with a flatbed. I am going to replace the flatbed with a box later this month. My current rear axle is the narrower cab and chassis axle with 3. 54 gears. I am picking up the wider axle which has 4. 10 gears. As my truck is a 4X4 I need to change the 4. 10's out for the 3. 54's. Both of the axles are Dana 70's. What I want to do is take the ring and pinion from my narrow axle and put them in th ewide axle. Any thoughts? Will they fit? Anyone know?

Also, I have followed the threads on installing 2nd gen seats in 1st gen trucks. I have acquired a leather 40/20/40 power bench. What I can't seem to find is the wiring diagram to complete the install. Lets face it, power seats without power are not very usefull. BTW the plug is a 10 wire plug. :D :D :D

Welcome to the TDR

Form what I have found out the 3:54 and 4:10 share the same carrier assembly. So this should be an easy swap to do. If you do not have a sevice manual I would suggest getting one for this type of swap. That way you can set up the clearences properly on the ring and pinion.
