I have a set (front/rear) of ring and pinion gears from a truck I bought new and replaced with 4. 11 gears. Any value? (60,000 miles)

are you sure their 3. 73's?

2001 2500's didn't come with them, only 4. 10's or 3. 54's.

Only way to have a set of 3. 73's is if you installed them.

If they came out of a Dodge Ram 2500, I'll bet they're 3. 54's. Count the number of teeth on the ring gear and divide by the number of teeth on the pinion gear and see what you get.

I will check it out. I bought the truck new so I know they are factory originals. (The new one's were 4. 10) If so, I have a set that are great shape if anyone is interested.

Dukenrock,

How do you like your new ring & pinion? I am thinking about changing my 3. 54 to 4. 1. I am not decided on whether to get a 3. 73 or 4. 1, I really need my RPMs to come up to keep the engine in the power band.

Andy
