3 cylinder high idle. Why is this desirable versus all 6 cylinders firing? I guess I don't understand the benefits of this? I tried a brief search, and couldn't find it.
Another question involves the smarty and 6 speed trucks in regard to the 3 cylinder high idle feature. I would simply like to know if the high idle works without bothering to wire up the clutch safety switch junk, or if a switch of some kind is still required to make it do it's thing? Does it control through the cruise control switch and buttons and can you adjust the high idle speed in some way or are you stuck with whatever high idle speed it wants you to be at?
If the high idle feature works in a convenient manner, I think that'll probably seal the deal regarding me officially wanting one of those Smarty things...
