3 cylinder idle in cold temp question??

my 99 would drop 3 cylinders when the temp dropped below 15*.

will the 3'rd gens do this? i've started it at 10* and it idled right up to 1000rpm but never dropped 3 cylinders.

will it happen or is this just a 2'nd gen trait? thanks... . james

This is an option you can get enabled by the dealer with a DRB III tool

it only applies to the second Gen 24V's, The 3rd. gens don't have it. I wish they did but not available
