... im scratching my my head now,... . i replaced the broken #3 fuel line, and also installed a NEW injector tube... . but the dang thing CONTINUES to drip fuel!!!

i've tried torque settings of 28ft lb as per the manual all to no avail..... ANY IDEAS WILL BE APPRECIATED!!!

..... and many thanks to all the members who offered help and support when i was broken down in Tennessee..... ;)

im still waiting on new o-rings for the injector tube from Cummins, should be here tomorrow... . but i think they just seal the lube oil?????

well, i changed out the o-ring on the injector tube, and re-torqued to 28ft lb. and all seems to be well. i dont see why that o-ring should make a difference,it should only be sealing lube oil,but im not gonna argue with success!!!!... . lol i test drove the truck, (like i stole it!) ... . ran it quite hard, and it didn't leak,so there ya go!!!... thanks guys, take care... tom;)

Glad Your Fixed (and your truck's working too)

Tommy:

Glad to hear you fixed your leak. Can't explain the phenomenon, but like you say, who wants to argure with success?

Is it possible when you installed the O-ring, you better seated the injector?

Take care and see ya,

Ron
