tried the 3 inch bds kit with the 3 inch spacer and 4 upgrade bds shocks. it is just not working for me. i can not get my truck level with the trailer even with air bags. well i can , but prefer not run 70 psi in the bags to level the truck or is common with you guys with air bags. i think 3 inches was a mistake for me. i went for looks and not performance in a work truck. shocks are too stiff for my taste,i put too many highway miles on for these.

long story short, it is coming off ( 6 weeks old) if any body is interested pm me. i have 400 in the shocks and 415 in the front kit.

If you're running lift blocks in the back, isn't the rear end sag the same as stock? I would think the pressure required in the bag would be the same as if your truck was at stock height.

I've been reading about lift kits a lot lately and it seems that the shocks are what makes or breaks the performance of the kit. I can see how 70 psi in the rear bags would ruin your ride as well.

Do you have any pics of your truck with the kit installed?

i will take some pics. my camera takes them at 7. 2 pixels , have to change them to be able to post a pic.

i just take off the front part of the kit and always have the 2 inch spacer in rear. then with trailer, i only have to put 10-15 psi in bags to keep 1 inch rake.

It sounds like the problem is that you have 2" spacers in the rear and did not compensate for this with the air bags... ..... they are meant to be used at stock height. Before you throw your lift away you should try a set of these in the 2" height variety. http://www.ezrideconcepts.com/

i have modified the firestone bracket to mount 2 inches lower on the frame with 2 inch square stock. seems to work great , it is very solid.
