I was wondering if any one out there made a 3" coil spring spacer. I know there is a 2 but thats not enough lift for me. I was to put 35s and have plenty of room to clear and make it look good. I am going to make a taller block for the back springs and do away witht the stock one. I'm also going to rool to axle so I won't have such a hard angle on the driveshaft. I wish I could buy this all for cheap but I can't. Has anyone ever done this? Since I'm poor I have to make it! LOL. Thanks for the help guys

BDS Suspensions makes a 3" spacer. Wind Rock Off Road has them for $176. 32. http://www.windrockoffroad.com/FINDVM/Dodge Ram/1/5/73/341/index.htm . BDS' website http://www.bds-suspension.com/suspensionsystems_10dodge.html I bought a pair, but haven't installed them yet. They're pretty beefy and come with hardware and bumpstops. I'm going to put them on top of a 7" Skyjacker long arm lift. I was planning on installing my new suspension next month, but I think I'm going to wait until spring so everything doesn't get messed up from road salt. -Glen

Rancho makes a 3" spacer, but I believe you have to buy the kit with arms.

Sibling rivalry makes anything from a 2" to a 5. 5" spacer that is billet I think. (www.siblingrivalry.com) I think is the web site.

another company (maybe full thorttle suspension?) makes an adjustable spacer.

One thing I've done to get a little more height in the rear (not on the cummins though) is to make a 1" block. Get some 1" thick plate, cut to the size you need and then drill a 3/8" hole in the center. Then you can take the center pin out of your current leaf pack and get a longer socket head bolt to bolt the 1" "block" to the leaf pack. that way you are not stacking blocks. It works well.

If you are making your own blocks, dont skimp on material. I'd use solid stuff If I was you. I've used a set of 5. 5" aluminum superlift blocks (not solid) on my 74 and they broke after about 2 weeks of hard wheelin. Be careful.
