Ok i was going to get the 2 inch Rancho kit but decided to go with the 3 inch Skyjacker because you get the springs not spacers can anyone tell me if the have this setup and do you like it. Getting install on Wed,cant wait i hope my 285 dont look to small,Thanks.

I have the 4. 5" Skyjacker lift with replacement springs, and I am real happy with their products. What are they using in the rear? add-a-leafs? additional blocks? I am considering adding traction bars to my rear, I get a bit of wheel hop on "excessive acceleration" launches!:D

Beast2BE on the rear its add a leaf i see you have 37 tires i got 285 if i do go bigger im thinks 305 or 315 no bigger how is the get up and go with them 37?

I have the 3. 54 gears and 6-speed as well as a PE Comp, so the giddyup is fine at this point- only the initial launch at stoplights is different. I will probably change to 4. 10 or 4. 56 gears eventually, but it's not too big a priority yet (lower priority than clutch, injectors and B1 turbo!). I never used to use 1st gear unless it was real steep or I needed to go real slow, so I use it more now... but not every time. I think my truck sits a little low in the rear, so I'll be adding another inch of height to the rear when I add the traction bars... just my personal opinion!

Is it really 4.5"???

Galen, I've got a set of the D45 springs. Wondering if you did a before and after measurement. Thanks,

Rick

37" pics

Hey Beastb2b,

do you have any pics of your truck with those 37"s? Was debating between 35's and 37's with a skyjacker 5" lift. Just want to see how much bigger it looks.

Thanks

Ken

Took the truck in today couldnt get the skyjacker 3 in lift the springs are back order from the manufacture so went with the 2 inch rancho:( . Once i saw the truck it wasnt that bad if i did go with the 3 inch i think the 285 tires would look to small. The ride seem to be ok not any rougher and the truck is nice and level. . I wish the lift wasnt red my wife might notice that:) Nice ride Beast28

excuses 101

Just remember that it's always "It will get better fuel economy" or "It will have better clearance to avoid obstacles for SAFETY"

It's NEVER "It looks better" or I WANT IT, I WANT IT, I WANT IT"
