I just purchased a 3000 gsk from the "dieselgod" piers, will i be able to tell any difference in acceleration, going to install next thursday morning. Oo. Oo.

Could'nt tell what transmission you have but I'm assuming a 5sp because of dana80. This govkit will make it much easier to accelerate fast through the gears because of the wider powerband. I've tried both and find the 4k kit a significant improvement over the 3k. Especially with a 5sp. It shouldnt really add any noticable power though. Good mod, you'll like it!



With the stock auto it makes an improvement too. The revs get up to where the torque converter can pass more power to the wheels instead of slipping.

4K a better choice

I agree with LarryB,

call Piers and ask him for the baby springs to add to your set. thats the only difference from the two kits. and yes you should get the 12, 60lb valve springs if you want to take it over 3200.

i ran mine with the stock springs for a while and there was no problems. but they do float over 3200

the 4k baby springs really improves the throttle response even from 2000 to 3000 than without the 4k springs
