Title kinda says it all, has anyone run a 305/65/R17 tire on a stock 2wd rig?

They are just slightly shorter than 285. 75 but 20mm or so wider. I am curious if they will rub. Tire shops have been no help on an answer

FYI on the 285/75/R17 BFG ATs which have both load rating E and D avalible ... Response I got from BFG said,
The BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO in size LT285/70R17 LRE is of different construction than the LRD version. As you mentioned the LRE version has a higher maximum psi capability. The LRD version was chosen as OE for the 2009 Dodge Ram 2500.

Still waiting on response for what the difference in construction is.

Not sure about your situation, but on my 2 wheel drive, Several years ago, I bought some slightly used Hummer wheels with 315/70R17 tires. I installed them and they did rub quite a bit, especially going over bumps and on hard turns. Then I got a 1. 5" front lift spacers and they didn't rub anymore. I am now running stock tires again...
