I have a 99 2500 4x4. Will BFG MT 305/70R16 tires fit? I do not have any lifts or other suspension mods.

I have had Cooper Discover 305/70R16's on my 99 CTD. They rub a little at full turn. You will not have to lift your truck, they are the same diameter as the 285/75R16's and about 1" wider. Like I said, they rub a little at full turn.

I have 305/70R16 Nitto Terra Grappler's ordered. Should be in shortly. Oo. Oo. :D

Thanks BIG BOB.

I think I will get a set Of the BFG Mud Terrains. I just need to get a new set of wheels first.

Hey BB, what minimum size width wheels are you using for the 305's? I was thinking about going to the 285's with my stock (aluminum slots) but can I go to the 305's with the stock rims? If other than stock widths need to be used, can one use an offset rim to avoid tire rub?

8" wide rims are the minimum recommended width you can use with 305 tires. I have American Racing Atlas 16" x 8" rims with a 4 9/16" backset. If your stock rims are 8" wide, you should be able to use them.
