My blower fan was intermittant. Upon investigation I found the 30a blower fuse arcing and melting. This has damaged the contact

so bad that I have to wedge a peice of wood on the fuse so it will make good contact.

I have had the recall done that added the relay quite a while ago. What could be causing this.

Also I am going to have to remove that circuit from the fuse block and fuse it separately because the fuse block contacts are

damaged from the heat and arcing.

I would guess that the recall/add rely only took the fan motor load off the HVAC switch . You are on the right track to rewire the circuit outside the fuse panel. Probably need to check the amp draw on the fan motor on high. Motor may be going south. bg
