315's Increase or Decrease MPG

For the people who installed the BFG's AT 315's, did your mileage go up or down and by how much?

Increase

A little over 1mpg, however, 90% of my driving is 70+mph.

It matters om your driving habbits... If your doing anything over 30% city you will lose MPG

Increase approx 1.5 mpg

I also put new 4" banks exhaust on at the same time. This was also about the time everyone was going back to straight #2 as well, so I don't know for sure. Time will tell...

How can you guys tell? Isn't your speedometer/odometer off now?

It's off 8%, the percentage the 315s are larger than the 265s. Just mutliply the miles traveled by 1. 08 and then divide by gallons used.

Speedo calibrate

Had the speedo calibrated for the tires 587 revs/mi. Perfect.

About the same,no discernable difference either way.

All I saw was poor economy, city or freeway. City was worse than freeway. Down 1 MPG on the road, and 2 MPG in the city.



Although the 315's raise the gear ratio I'm afraid that swinging all that mass and more rolling friction can result in nothing good fuel economy wise.



They look cool, and off road they are very nice.
