I am looking to add a 2. 5" lift on my '01. And I was wondering if this lift would accommodate 315's on aftermarket rims?

I just put a set of 315's on yesterday. All I did was install 2. 5" spacers on the front. The tires fit perfectly on the factory 16x8 forged aluminum wheels. I get some slight rubbing on the lower suspension links at full lock. If you go with the leveling kit the axle will move to the left 3/8" and you will have to re-center your steering wheel. other than that my truck looks great. I will have some pictures soon.

I installed a 1" spacer on the front and put 315's on ultra allyos. It works great with the after market rims verse the stock wheels because the off-set is greater on the after market wheels. I belive at least the 99 stock wheels are a 7. 5" wheel. The 315 is to big a tire for a 7. 5" wheel. 8" is as small as your should run. the 315's as the equal of a 35-12. 5-16 size ,any good tire guy should fit you up with 8" wheels. Good luck!

I run 315/75R16s on the factory aluminum rims w/o a lift on my '00. They rub on the lower control arm before full steering lock. Haven't had any other clearance problems but I do not use this truck offroad - fire roads yes, rock crawling no.
