Throwing parts at the problem

I found some tires and wheels off a Dmax on craiglist for a good price. Tires are 325/65R18. 18x10 -12mm offset. Bolt pattern is 8x6.5( same as dodge I believe) Will these fit on an 06 with stock suspension? A little control arm rubbing at full lock won't bother me too much.

The height of the tire will not be a problem, the offset is what will give you problems.Measure your oem backspacing and compare it to the set you are looking at

Wrong wheel, you need a +40 mmm offset or a 5.75 - 6.25 backspace for it to fit correctly. They will stick out like training wheels and raise havoc with steering and suspension.

If you tow and especially if you have an automatic, you could "over gear" meaning you might not be able to tow well in OD. I run 285/75/17 when not towing and it is nice but I struggle towing to keep my standard trans in 6th. I have my stock wheels with stock tires that I put on for long trips. My OD is .74 (6th)
As said above, the off set isn't correct for your truck.

I had the same exact experience with that tire size. Even with an extra 100 HP form the Smarty, it was hard to stay in 6th and my buddy in his stock auto 06 could hang with me (same weight trailers) in the mountains.
I couldn't have that! So I went to 285/70/17's and it was quite a bit better. (I can pull away from him now) :D
