Will the Toyo A/T 325/70/17's fit on my dually with 17x8 aftermarket front wheels, 17x7 aftermarket rear wheels and a 2" spacer in the rear? Looking at the ORU steel spacers...

Second question, if I'm running a 17x7 outer dually rear wheel (aftermarket), what do I do about the inner rim? It will be the stock 17x6 which I would think make the tire a slightly different shape than the one mounted on the 17x7? Can I get a steel stock style 17x7 dually rim for the inners?

Other suggestions on a 35" tire that will fit are welcome as well but I'd like to stay with Toyo's...

Oh yeah, the truck will have the Kore Recon setup.

Thanks :D

Hence the reason I want aftermarket 17x7's... :D

You're still short a few inches..... Toyo's webpage lists a 8. 5 inch wide wheel as the minimum and recommends a 9. 5 inch wide wheel. And you will most likely need spacers cuz I really doubt you'll get the tires on the truck without them. Have you given any thoughts to 19. 5's? I do not know of any wheel makers offering a wider stock style steel wheel. Perhaps you could call Stockton wheel, they might be able to build what you want. Watch your clearances inside of the inner dual though.

Yeah I already plan on running the spacer as I said. As far as the 19. 5's, nope. Don't like big rims... As far as the manuf. recommendations on rim width I've never payed too much attention to that, my other truck has 44's that are 18. 5" wide on 8" wide rims, then again it doesn't get driven too much :D

Does anyone have any experience with any of this? What 35's should I get for the truck then if I'm only running a 17x7? I see guys on this site running 35x12. 5 BFG's on STOCK dually rims...

hey i dont know about 325 70 17 but i know that 315 70 17 will fit witha leveling kit. you can use stock rims they will hit the control arms on the drivers side but not to bad. you can go with an after market wheel that has a 4. 5 backset with no problems. i dont know about the kore kit but i do know about the steering stabilizer you will want one, with those tires . i used to get death wobble and installed the kore stabilizer and had no problems with my front end.

I've seen it done with stock wheels and a spacer. Most of the time I see BFG all terrains used for this. You do need to use the same width wheel for all 4 on the rear or you will have a hard time making them wear even close to the same. Honestly you'll lose some on road handling with the narrow wheels. To keep the tire tread flat you'll need to run a little less air than if you were running say a 10" wheel so you'll end up with excess sidewall flex. To the point of being dangerous, I don't think so, but its up to you. I like the look of a dually on 35's myself.

Another option might be michelin military type tires, but I'm not sure if you can get them in a 17" wheel. They are narrower than traditional tires.

The Michelin's don't come in a 17" or else I would have been on those a while ago. I have a set of 4 brand new XML's in 44" for a 20" rim in the garage I'm trying to sell... There an awesome tire but way too hard for any trail use.

Agreed they aren't good at all on the trail. My trail rig runs rockwells so I looked into them but went with 44 tsl's. I watched a rig with XML's have lots of trouble and had to winch where I didn't have a problem. No sidewall flex.

Can you get 2 more 17x7's for the inner duals? If so run those and 35's and don't worry about it. Prob going to be the route I take when I wear out my current set.

Yeah I run 44" TSL's as well, no problems at all, do plan on cutting them up a bit though with a groover...

I thought about that but the wheels are around $350 a piece and thats alot of money for a wheel that will never be seen... I'd like a 17x7 in steel, know of any?
