If my memory serves me correctly, BFG makes the Pro-Comp tire, it's like their entry level tire. The MT's by Pro Comp are definitely loud on the highway, but I guess you could say about any Mud terrain tire. I had a set of 33's on my old Toyota and can't say a bad word about them...

good tires...

at least in 16" size that i had on my previous ram. the A/Ts have a good pattern, are rated for 50,000 miles, and worked well on snow pack roads-lots of siping. If they have 17" A/T with load range e when it comes time to replace my originals, i'll go with pro-comp.

by the way, i think cooper tire bought pro-comp a couple years ago-or so my tire guy told me... ?

Yes Cooper does make these tires. I have them on my CTD and think they are a great tire. They get excellent traction on the wet pavement and do well off-road, as much as you want to take a 7,000 lb truck off-road. I have about 10,000 miles on them now with no complaints of drivability. When I wear these out I will probably go with the BFG AT 285 because of the load rating. I think the pro comp 33's are more suited for a 1/2 ton seeing how the load rating is only 2600lbs per tire at 50 PSI. Going by this rating they barely handle the front axle of my truck. Just depends on what your plans are for them. Good luck

i've got a set of the 35's on third gen rims on my '01 really nice ...

took 2 - 3. 5 x2 - 4. 25 ounces to balance

quiet on the road and better than the wifes bfg ats in the mud

the 35's have a pretty large gap between the tread blocks though ... don't pick up many rocks but piiiiiiiiiiiings pretty good when they do
