Went to Raton, NM for the NRA Nat'l Shoot and then up thru CO and Wyoming and back to CA. Lot's of hills. Had to drop into 4th for a few of them. Was pleased with the power and have an EZ to install after a few more break in miles. I averaged only 10. 7 mpg for the 3281 miles (actual, not Computer generated) I am happy with the mileage as it seems better with more miles on the truck. It pulled better and got better mileage the last 1/2 of the trip. I was towing at a steady 70 most of the time after leaving CA. I see what you guy's mean about backing up and the clutch wanting to chatter. ! I know, I was 660 lbs O/Wt on the truck. I will run without the fresh water tank full in the future. The Pac Brake is a Winner. ! Good Rig, Good Trip. :D :D :D

Get your ez installed and after a few miles you can put in some 275 injectors and it will Really pull. Seriously, I am glad you enjoyed the trip and you like your rig.

What a trip!

DR Now thats a vacation!

a new truck

the smell of gunpowder

steep hills

lots of country, few people

hopefully lower fuel prices too!

If you travelled thru Shoshoni, WY and didn't stop for a Malt, you'll have to go back, get the malt and the bumper sticker (that says you did so). It certainly makes the drive from or to Casper somewhat tolerable.

:D
