I think I have a dead injector (207000 on the stockers) and was searching ebay. I found a set of 330s but the ad says that these are NOT recommended for the 160 pump. Is this true? Thanks

only thing I can think of is it may get the stumble like the 370's. sometimes bigger delivery valves help, other times they dont...

I already have the stumble; maybe there are bigger injectors on it already. My main concern is the trans. I was thinking maybe 300s would be best for now since I'm in college (Diesel Tech) and don't have much money for BOMBs. :{

If you are short on cash you could always pop out your injectors and have them tested?

Or pick up a used, lower mileage stock set of sticks and have them checked before install.

Would 300s be better for my trans. I don't know what plate is in the pump or how far forward the stock plate is. I want a little more power (and injectors that don't miss) but I don't want to fry my trans. What's your advice?

300's would probably still put too much stress on your stock transmission. I started slipping my trans w/stock injectors and a aggressive plate. My advise would be to keep it close to stock until you can upgrade your transmission. The stocker just cant hold the tq.

Get some 215 injectors from someone with a 96 manual - 98 12-Valve Ram. I bought some from a guy who went with 370's or something else bigger. Cost = $100 for all six. They will help out the 160 pump quite a bit. Combined with a plate = even more HP. Grind your own stock plate into a #100 = even less $$$.
