34” tires and 4.10 Gears

What are your guy’s thoughts on 4.10 gears and 34” tires (295-70r18)
I currently have 295/70r18 tires and don’t plan on ever going any bigger. I have the ability to install gears and can get a AAM set for a song!
Is 4.10 too much? I’m deleted and tow 11k on a regular basis out west through some mountains sometimes.

I think it is a reasonable setup. My 06 g56 3.73 and 18 Aisin 4.10 turn about 100rpm less than you will be turning. The 06 would do 17@68mp but mileage would start to drop once you cleared 2100rpm.

For towing it will work well but may be a bit lower than you want for unloaded if you like running high speeds.
