I understand BF Goodwrench makes a 35" radial that fits our rims. Anyone have a set or any other brand in the 35" size?

Chad

I have a set of BFG A/Ts. They are 295/75r16 equal to 35 x 11. 50. (actual measurement: 34. 4" H) THEY ARE GREAT!! Load range D. I researched 15 different sizes and brands and came back to these every time.

I'm with Jeff, Love the 295's. They don't spray outside the fenders to bad, and no risk of rubbing.
I wanted the 315's too, but was worried they would ballon out from the stock 8" rims to much and have a detrimental affect on tire wear.
Plus if you run 3. 54 gears you'll be a little happier with the acceleration.
If I ever run 315's I would get 10" wide rims to minimize center tire wear, Then definetely get fender flares, Then BOMB the S%*# out of it #ad

I run 315/75R16 Pathfinder ATRs (Americas Tire) on my '00 - factory alum wheels. They calculate out at 34. 6in OD x 12. 4in wide. The look fine on the 8inch wheel - don't balloon out or stick out beyond the fender. I've got ~23k miles on them and they don't show any abnormal wear - I set tire pressure to achieve full contact across the width of the tire. The only problem is that the tires do rub the lower control arm before full steering lock.

FYI - 295/75R16s calculate out to 33. 4in OD x 11. 6in wide.

I still can't believe all the great info on this site. Please let me know if i'm getting this right, 295's don't rub at all on stock suspension and 315's rub a little? I run 285's now and was wandering whether I could run either of the others without mods to the suspension on my new one. If I'm not pressing my luck, was wondering if any of you had run the 255-85 BFG mud's. Worse tire noise than BFG AT,s? Worse tire wear? Worse highway all season traction? Thanks alot ,
Doug

I'm runnin' 315 X 70's on 16 X 7 Alcoa's, no rubbing, But the 315 will bubble out on 7" wide wheels, I wouldn't go any bigger... .

How do y'all recalibrate the speedo/odo/abs/transmission or whatever else is affected by changing final gear ratio i. e. tire size?

Still haven't decided what truck to buy. DC VS F*** VS Ch*** !

Mike2500,

Are you running the 315's without any lift whatsoever. If so, do you have any problems as far as rubbing when you turn sharp or anything along those lines. Just curious.

I ran 305's on my 96 gasser. It had 6" rims. Ballooned a little. Still carried the camper fine. They were Goodyear ATS if I recall. Nice and quiet.

Clarification on previous post:

I run the 315s on the stock alum (16x8) wheels w/o ANY lift and have rubbing on the lower control arms before full steering lock. I do not off road my truck so I do not know if the tires would hit the fenders on full suspension compression.
