Yeah I know a 1 Ton is not a Corvette but my new truck sure doesn't handle like my old one when empty.
2017 2500 Big Horn 6.4 vs 2021 3500 Tradesman single wheel 6.7 ..
Almost feels like they forgot the sway bars.
Tires are right at 60/80 so that's not it.

What can I do to tighten it up?

Aren't 3500 more HD with leaf springs kinda more traditional set up.

Where a 2500 is coil springs.

I was pretty impressed with my '18 2500 when I climbed under to take a look.

Good starting points air pressure and give it some time to settle in.

FWIW.. watch your head on these darn things......

Im about ready to cut them off.. hit my head on one two times when doing my rear fuel filter in the air and have a nice little gouge... IMHO they don't need to hang down 2~3".. FCA could save some money on material making them the proper length.

I'm running 65 FRT and 55 - 60 RR. Has made a big difference in the handling! Handles closer to my 2001 1500 with those pressures. It's a pain to have to air up for a load, but that's why I have an air drop outside to hook hose to. You may want to invest in AlfaOBD to change the low end threshold not have TPMS light looking at you. Many other useful items that it can be used for. Enjoy the new ride!

Yeah... still need to do that... I have not dropped the pressure(s) on my 20 and she rides pretty good for a 9k lb truck :D Would like to be able to some day tho and not have a warning light.

I am confused, you own a 3500 and you get a warning light on low tire pressure?

I assume so, but to be honest I haven't aired them down to find out, I tow often enough lately that I would be air in /out frequently but our 12' 2500 does.

I'll check it out when I get back to my home shop tomorrow and drain my diff(s)... I'll report back then

If people really want to run proper inflation use the weight/inflation chart for your specific tire size and load range. Weigh loaded and unloaded then add 5psi to the rears and 10psi to fronts. You will get good ride, tread wear and stopping.
