3500 srw orders on hold??

Ordered a 3500 cc srw longbed on thurs with aisin and air ride. Dealer calls back and says the computer wont take the order. It will take it if he does a drw with 3.73 or 4.10, but not 3.42 and since all srw are 3.42, it wont work. Any one heard anything about this. Is there a shortage of 3500 3.42 axles? Kinda frustrating!!!

It may very well be that the Aisin is on restriction (low availability). As TuffGuy pointed out....try again later. It might just go through...

I thought the air ride on the 3500's wouldn't be available till later in the year? I wonder if that is holding it up?

This is what I was thinking. The air ride is again...... late availability.

I know a guy who has a 2015 3500 SRW Aisin with rear air leveling that is scheduled for delivery around turkey day. He hasn't been told there are any issues with the order, yet.

I tried to order last spring and could not get a SRW Aisin to go through. I haven't tried for a '15 yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if that was the issue yet again.

I went through that also in March/April.....which I thought it was just as well at the time, too much money, had a good truck already, blah, blah, blah. Thought I was safe...... Then....boom, found one on the lot that had just fallen out of a deal, right color and everything.

Ordered a 2015 3500, Laramie, LB, SRW, 4X4, Aisin, 3 weeks ago. I have an estimated ship date of 11/4. Just sold 2006 Laramie, LB, 4X4.

I've been on the build and price a few times in the last couple of days. Air suspension is gone as an option again. It had been there up until last week. Wonder if it's being put off again?

Ram pruduces the most powerful and reliable trucks on this planet. Lets hope that Ram so still working out the small details in this system versus not being offered at all.

It's a shame that Ram advertised the air system available for 2014 when in fact it wasn't ready to go and now it looks like the 2015 trucks might follow suit. Although it's a disappointment for us as consumers, I'd rather have a Ram air system that works flawlessly versus a problematic air system that doesn't work on a $60k pickup.

I am sure there are engineers burning midnight oil to address issues that came up. I still think this is related to the Lance Camper on the 2500 air system. Someone had the sense to put a tall load on the 3500 and stability became an issue that needed to be addresses. SNOKING

Just ordered a 2015 SRW Laramie, and as we were going through the options, the dealer asked if I wanted the air ride. It was available for him to order, but I didn't want it.
