2018 3500 srw ctd 4x4, would like to upgrade my wheels and tires. Looking at 20x10 wheels with somewhere around a -18- -24 offset(I'm wanting about 2" outside fenders). Can I fit 35" tires on truck or will I have rubbing issues?
JTM, what offset is your wheels?I have 35”s on my 2013 Ram 2500. I HAD to put a leveling kit on my truck and I still have some slight rubbing after a while some of the plastic inner fender well rubbed away and it stopped. I have XD Addicts 20x10 with 12x35x20 Toyo AT2’s.
That's to extreme for me, I'm looking for something thats going to give me about 2" outside the fenders
I am wanting the tire itself about 1.5-2" out.Do you want the wheel 2" outside the fender or the tire? If you want the tire to be 2" out then you need to know what tire you are going to run and width as a 12" wide tire on 8.5" wide rim would make it so the wheel is just about even with the fender flare or fender and the tire would be just about 2" out. If the wheel is 2" outside the tire would likely be about 4".
JTM that look is exactly what I'm looking for, but in a 33 tire. I'm wanting to stay on stock suspension. Is that a -18 or +18 offset? Here’s a pic of my truck. View attachment 110479View attachment 110480
