I have a question for our members who are more gifted at wiring. I'm planning to take out my 35W lights in the bumper and replace them with 55W Hella.

Question, would it be too hard on the light switch or wiring, to just wire them up to the same wires that were on the 35W stock bumper lights ?

You will be going from just under 3 amps to about 4. 5 amps current draw. That should be OK for the wire and switch that's there. Even if the fuse were as small as a 5 amp, you wouldn't exceed that (that would take you to about 60W).

The only problem I've had changing lights is when I added backup lights. I installed 55 watt and they worked fine. One blew and I went to either 90 or 100 watts and the fuse wouldn't take it. Back to 55. Until I install a relay, that's all that system will hold. It's bright enough for about 40 feet.
