Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 370 injector question

Will after having them sit around in my tool box for awhile I decided I'd put them in. Everything went smooth till afterwards. I noticed that if I mashed on the go pedal it'd run up to about 1500-1800 RPMS and make kind of a barking sound and keep climbing. It didnt seem to hesitate or anything when it barked. It would only do it when I mashed on it, if I just ran it up regularly/slowly it wouldn't do it.

This is commom with the 160 pump like you have. A bit more timing may help and/or a set of delivery valves.
