question i have to submit my truck to an icelandic emissions/smoke density test. it will be running a 10 plate and 370's and some other junk ;) i was thinking i could get over on the system by putting the stock plate back in to run the test. the question is will the truck still be able to make the injectors pop with a stock cam plate?

Yes, of course you can use the stock torque plate. The most effective way to be sure you pass is to block the boost signal to the afc.

But then it would be sickly, underfueled and worse yet he might follow down your path! :) Maybe he will stay away from drugs though! Addiction to #2 diesel is best eh, hp king? Most of us will play catch up for a very long time, then your "sickly" get's thirsty again.

I'll gladly block that wastegate signal for a Eurpopean mobile call, to escape some Texas heat. Of course Joe would argue w/me saying Vegas heat is justa as bad, if not worse!

Block the boost sense line AND slide the housing fully back. Those 370 fire hose nozzles will make it tough especially if you are at any elevation.

I had my 370s in before any other mods and it ran just fine. Moving the plate back will help with excessive fuel delivery.

I pass my test every year with 370's and a different plate. If hey let you do the test yourself, do it. We have the snap test where you just floor it for 5 seconds a few times. Ease into the throttle and you'll pass no problem. The attendent will have no clue... ... ...
