:( from the replies I got I'm not so sure on what to do. some posted that they had the same problem, and they also had the 160 pump 370 combo.

and they tried 191's and the stumble didn't go away,so now what??

I SURE DON'T WANT TO SPEND 3-400 BUCKS ON DELIVERY VALVES PLUS THE SPECIAL SOCKET ALL FOR NOTHING. would going to 300 injectors cure it. maybe someone out would swap me my 370's for 300's if that would even work. maybe I should have posted this in 911 forum because I'm getting despirate I just want my truck to run smoother.

ALSO MY TIMING IS SET @ 16. 5 I run a #11 plate slid all the way forward

truck is a 94 160 pump CPL 1549

HELP PLEASE :(

How many miles on the truck? Could be you're drawing air somewhere, or you injection pump needs service. Mine misses with bigger injectors so I went back to small injectors until I can get my pump pulled and serviced.

I have the 300 marine injectors and can almost say I have zero stumble. The only time I have even noticed a slight stumble is in a 50 mph speed zone area at about 1200 rpms in OD. I really have to be looking for it to even know it is there. None of my passengers has ever felt it. Other than that, it is non existent.

I have been real happy with my set up and would bet you may also. Here is a thread on my results.

I've always had the stumble to varying degrees with 370's and my 160hp pump...

I've used everything from 131's, 181's, 022's to cut DV's... they all stumble with the 370's. I'm installing a set of BIG Massdiesel EDM's in the next week or two... it will be interesting to see if they get rid of the stumble.

Call Piers. If anyone knows the 160 pump and how to deal with the stumble and the 370's, he will!

Don,

Mine does not stumble. I have a very slight flutter between 1400 and 1700, but you have to pay attention to notice it. If you want, I will take you for a ride.

stumble 370's

I called Piers and they recomended running 191s. for delivery valves I've got stock ones in now.

I hope that this will cure the problem.

I should be getting them on tues will install them on Friday.

Wouldn't be a bad idea to check the fuel pressure as well. Then it can be ruled out. Probably fine, but doesn't hurt to check.

I have the EDM's in stock... they're BIG. :D

I snapped off my pyrometer adapter in the manifold last night. After I get that all set... I'm going to make some baseline runs and compare the EGT's/Boost of the 370's and then the EDM's.

Maybe I can get a dyno run in too in the near future to get a somewhat side-by-side comparison.
