Finally installed the new 370's and the Peirs 3k GSK and WOW!!:--) This much fun can't be legal. Had a lot of trouble setting idle and found the front pivot assembly of the throttle linkage was so sloppy it was binding. Cut up a plastic cup and made a makeshift tight bushing and it finally settled down. Will have to replace on Mon. I'm also having a stumble when I first start off, rpms drop and seems like it is not getting enough fuel(around 500 or so rpms as the clutch engages). If I rev it up to 1000-1200 to start off it does not happen. Have the new AFC spring but did not install yet. Is it time for the Peirs secret lever adjustment or should I be looking somewhere else?????:confused: :confused:

I doubt you need delivery valves on a 215 motor. After installing 370s and 4K kit in my 96/215 I had what I would describe as a real lack of response just off idle. made it difficult to start of smoothly. I would add a little pedal and nothing, a little more and it would take off. I found my problem in the AFC and gov. I loosened the gov spring retainers 2 clicks. Also the AFC housing was too far forward. I called Piers and he helped me through it. launches nice and smooth without much revs now. Amazing what those two mods will do isn't it?

Same here (see sig) stock delivery valves and it runs great, no stumble or rough running at all. Delivery valve could cause these problems more so on the lesser HP motors.
