Was just wondering what most of you guys are setting the timing at with 370's mainly on the little pumps? my 175 pump with stock dvs above 3000rpm starts to miss and smoke white, and been told i gotta get the timing up, which it now is at 15* and yes i have good fuel press at the pump.

I finally got the 370's installed with the thin washers and am happy so far. Haven't pulled the trailer yet but it idles and accelerates smooth. My timing is set at 15* and will leave it there for now.

Still using the original delivery valves.

For use with that 841 pump do no more than 16-18* with 0. 020" washers or you will overspray the re-entrant lip of the piston bowl. 370's are a waste of money unless used with 155* pistons if you want to run advanced timing.
