TEST: K&N vs stock air filter...

370's or DDII's. Which should I go with? I tow a 7000lb boat most of the time. With the #6 plate my max EGT's are 1150. No hills here in NE NC to worry about. Haven't done any exhaust mods yet but a 4 inch system is next. Will I need to change out delivery valves? If so, how difficult is it?

If you are adding the injectors for towing I would have to steer you to DD2's, for full on performance and cost cutting go with PDR 370's, and your pump has 181 DV's in it so it's fine, if you do change to 191 DV's you will add 40cc's of fuel per/1000 over the 181's or about 40 HP.

Thanks, Jim. I'll probably go with the 370's. Piers has them on sale this month. I really don't need the extra power for towing, just the fun factor! Mike

Jim, I am also curious about the 40hp gain. I have heard from more than one person that DV's do nothing for peak HP on a dyno, but I don't know what kind of HP the add in the midrange. 40hp seems like a bit much.

Sorry guys guess I missed this post again, take one dyno reading later down the line add 370's then 191's take your plate ( a #4 in my case) and slide it back . 050 cause the temps are through the roof and gain 86 HP. Piers told me 40 HP should be about right, but I've heard 3 times on the 215 pumps it doesn't make any difference... ... . :( Chris, Don M. , Joe D. Yea it confuses me too. Question is, does this just work on the 160,175 and 180 pumps! On mine it was Kick in the pants, like the 370's all over again.
