What is the red line on the 2003 HO?what speed are you going with 373? I can't wait to get my 03 HO 6 spd 373 drw. I have a 97 5spd with 410 srw. It pulls great but it tachs out at 75mph.

I confirmed my rear end is 3. 73 and tire size is 265-70-17. Based on calculations from the web site above I should see 69 MPH at 2,000 RPM and 73 MPH at 2100 RPM.



FYI, the gear ratios in the NV5600 (six speed) in our Dodge CTD's is :



First 5. 63

Second 3. 38

Third 2. 04

Fourth 1. 00

Fifth . 73



I tend to doubt the tach is off though it is possible. I think my speedo may be reading slower than actual. This is unusual as the the manufacturers want them to read a higher speed so the warranty mileage is used up sooner.



I'll check with a GPS, but now that I think about it, when running at 72 MPH almost no one is passing me in the 65 MPH zone.
