Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 3K 4K GSK kit

I have ben told to go with the 4K insted of the 3k. Monday I am installing a ATS TC and have a fule plate. I orderd a #8 but the plate says #6 on it. O well I will live with it . but back to the GSK kit what shuld I go with? what benifits does the 4k have over the 3k?

Unless you are sledpulling or racing, I'd just get the 3k kit. The 4k kit also requires the use of the 60# valve springs as well, if you use the RPMs.

the 3k kit is alot cheaper also.



And there have been many Statements that with the 4k kit your vavles may float .



with a 3k kit in my brother truck he can get 3500 PRm fairly easily I suppose ... . I DONT KNOW FOR SURE but with the 4k kit is would be possible to run in the 4500 rpm range witch is BIG TIMIMING IT for a street diesel

Note I got the ones from Smokin Diesel but it was a typo on there website ... ... they let me have them for that price but they may be more now . .



Most of the above are just PDR springs period so your best bet is to contact PDR for a set of springs

Thanks for the help guys. I will go with the 3K then. All I plan on doing is pulling my 29' 10,000lb 5th wheel.
