Anyone that has switched from the 3kgsk to a 4kgsk, what differences did you notice? Is there any pros or cons on doing this?

Where do you notice the difference? I would assume it is from the 3-4K rpm range. I am interested in what difference it would make as well.

How many rpms you need?

I would bet your 3GSK pulls hard past 3K reving to 3400 atleat? Mine did. Standard install, normal idle (no extra turns one the retainers).

The 4GSK will pull well past 4K in a 215 pump. If you say you will never run it that high, do you need the 4 GSK. I have never tried to see how far mine would run, but when hitting ice and snow under power it hits 4K real fast (have to watch the tach).

If there was a difference in low rpms performance it is pretty subtle... I did not notice it with my setup.

One more thing, Higher RPMS in 12V really pushes the EGTS up with a stock head, and other stock parts.

WHile I do have the 4 GSKs and would not take them out, knowing what I found out with my truck and how I use it, I would not put them in if I was doing it over agian.
