Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 3k Gsk

I have a bone stock 95 with auto that turns 2900 rpm under load and 3100 rpm w. o. t. in neutral. Has done this since I bought new with 14mi. But all the other post I have read have lower rpm.

Would a 3K GSK do anything for me?

If yes what ?

My plans includ pump,injectors,ATS exhaust manifold and turbo without indangering this great little inline 6.

95 with an auto has a 160 pump. the 160's are slugs top end. U need to go with a 4 K kit in a 160 to see much difference. The 180's and 215's u only need a 3k kit to make a big difference. U may be able to spin 2900 rpm but your fuel drops off waaay before then, about 2100-2200 rpm. With the 4k kit in a 160 u will be able to full fuel up to 3100 or 3000 rpm and spin to 3500-3600 rpm depending on how u have the nut adjusted. Myself i can't tell much difference in a 3K lit with the 160 pump and the 175 pump, . . but the 180's and 215 run awesome with a 3K kit.
