Sure sorry I missed this We had the wrong dates for our Elk hunting trip in northern Utah, I had been told the season ended the 14th, so my dad and I would be back at my folks' place in Barstow in plenty of time, but the season didn't end until the 16th, and we didn't get back to Barstow until 4:00 PM Saturday afternoon... oh well...
Thanks to Hunter Dodge, I had a great time meeting new faces and getting reacquainted with old friends. Congratulations to David and Bob and all the other trophy winners. I left a little rubber and smoke behind and had a great time, see you all next year.
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at the diesel in the desert in Lancaster. It was my first time to any event of this sort and my whole family had a great time. I even managed to get a third place in the first gen. catagory. How i dont know, i didnt wash it or anything. I was just going to show up and see what it was all about. Congrats to Ron who took 2nd in the the first gen. catagory as well. Hope to make it to the next one if i can.
Damn Bob, my ears are already burn'n . We increased our production volume at work, which leaves me putting in 70 hours a week right now... ..... Maybe enough money for some new toys, but no time to use them.
I am gathering interest in our next meeting, and have hopes for another wrench day coming up as well - I'll be getting in touch with everyone in the usual fashion.
Congratulations to Dave (AKA- What can I add to my truck next :-laf ) Sherman for walking away with a new shelf ornament, and Of course Bob for taking home yet another (not too shabby for a 94'! )
For those new members who've E'mailed me and called, thanks for your interest. I've got your info and will be emailing everyone soon.
